Beth Tweddle Wins Gold!!
She came to my gymnastics club. I didn't see her but hope I can some other time. :) I think she is a really good gymnast and would love to be like her some day.

Acro and Halloween
I have been enjoying my acrobatics and tumbling squad classes. I've got a partner for acro. I like her, she's funny and good to work with. She's 2 years younger than me and is a good gymnast. She does the top and I do base when we do balances. We've learnt lots of moves. She can do a somersault off my shoulders. I still have to find music for a competition we'll be doing at the beginning of next year. I'm nervous and excited about that.
I'm still waiting to get my training leotard and I'll need another one for the competition. I have to donate money to a charity at my gymnastics club and then in return get a free tracksuit.
I like my tumbling class too. Last night though I felt sick and had to leave early. I'll be at tumbling and acro today too, 4 1/2 hours of classes altogether!
At the weekend we had a Halloween party in my house. Two of my cousins came down. We spent ages decorating the house. My mum carved 3 pumpkins, one for me and my 2 brothers, But they rotted before Halloween and we had to buy a new one. Some of our neighbours came to the party. I dressed up as a goth! I wore a scraggy old dress, a black hoody, gothic boots and lots of eye makeup and black lipstick. My once my mum didn't tell me off for wearing too much eye makeup! We got lots of sweets in trick or treating.
I always go down to the beach at midnight on Halloween with my friend from next door and her mum and gran. My cousin came too this year. We have fireworks and sparklers. It was a bit wet but we had a good time.

Try Outs
On Saturday I went for my cheerleading squad try outs. I wanted to get into the competition team. There was another coach there who I know but she had never coached me or seen me do gymnastics before. I was the first person to arrive so the coaches let me run about and play in the gym until everyone else arrived. I was just doing my normal gymnastics; tumbling and bars. We were there for about half an hour. After we did our cheer dance, we had to demonstrate some simple gymnastics skills like splits, handstand, cartwheel and bridge. When I was getting ready to leave the coach who had never taught me talked to my mum and said that she wanted me in her 2 gymnastics squads; acrobatics and tumbling. She also said for sure that I was in the cheerleading squad before I even got the letter. I was so excited. I have always wanted to be in a squad and now I am in 3!
My first acro lesson was on Sunday and I was nervous at first but I felt better when I started doing the class. My coach said that she might have already found me a partner for championships. I can't wait until my first championship.

Jamaica: days 2 and 3
I woke up and went for a short walk with Daddy. I put a dress on and tied up my hair. When we were all ready, we went to a small church for the viewing of my auntie Catherine. Then we went to a different church for the service. It lasted a long time, about 3 hours. We sat in the front row. There was a lot of singing and dancing. Different people came up to talk about my auntie. They said she was a very nice person and liked to cook. There was a funeral book with lots of photos and I was in it. Afterwards her coffin was put into a tomb. There were a lot of very sad people.
When everything had finished we went back to auntie Mary's house. We had some food then went to bed.
Next day we got up very early to take me to the hairdresser. Daddy, Michael and Polly came with me. Polly is my auntie Catherine's daughter. It didn't hurt getting my hair done, but it took about an hour. I got cane rows in the front and twists in the back. I like it!
Getting my hair done.
We went back to auntie Mary's house to get our stuff. We said goodbye to everyone including Grandma because she was staying with her sister for another 9 days and we were going back to Montego Bay. On our way back, we stopped off at Daddy's uncle and aunt's house. Me and Michael had a lot of fun trying to catch a giant lizard that was on their tree.
Me and Michael with our aunt and uncle.
On our way to the hotel we stopped off at Grandad's house to play for a while. We couldn't stay there too long because we had to get to our hotel and then go out to meet Daddy's cousin Mark and his fiancee (she's his wife now). We all went for a meal together, to Scotchies for jerk chicken and pork. We went to Burger King afterwards because Michael didn't eat anything earlier.
We headed up to our hotel, the Rose Hall Hilton and we went to bed.

My trip to Jamaica (Day 1)
On May the 28th my Dad, brother, Grandma and I went to Jamaica for my great auntie's funeral. We had to get two planes, one from Belfast to London Gatwick and one from Gatwick to Montego Bay (in Jamaica).
But it was not easy! We had to wait in Gatwick airport for a very long time because the flight we were taking was delayed by about one full day! When we at last got on the plane it took off and we were going. I was really glad because all of the passengers had started to get incredibly mad. I was too!
After 11 hours on the plane, we landed. It was extremely hot and I felt exhausted. We all got a taxi to our hotel which was about 10 minutes drive away. We slept as soon as we got in our rooms. Next day, Michael and me went outside and started climbing trees in the beautiful garden. The mango trees were full of fruit. Next we went swimming in the pretty pool, surrounded by trees and exotic flowers and with a waterfall and a pond. We ate breakfast on the balcony looking over the garden.

We went back to the airport to hire a car then all drove into the country to my Granda's house. He lives in Jamaica. He lives near lots of mountains and loads of the houses are built on sticks. There are goats, dogs and chickens running about. We played with our cousins Justin, Jamie, Monique, Anesca and Rosa. We played chasies, hide and seek and I taught them some cheer leading and gymnastics moves. Justin was great at doing cartwheels.

My Granda uses a wheelchair and he likes to chat a lot. He asked me lots of questions about what I've been doing. I met him once before when I was 5 years old. He was very friendly and I like him a lot.
When we left his house we drove to Mandeville where my other great aunt, Mary lives. It was quite late when we arrived and I hadn't eaten since breakfast. I had a tiny bit of mango and cocunut at Granda's house but I was too busy playing to eat more. Dad took Michael and me out for KFC while Grandma got some time to talk to her sister Mary.
We played with some of our other cousins who lived there and went to bed in Mary's house. It was very late and I was really tired, but I was still one of the last people to go to bed.

My mobile phone
When I was 9 I got my first good mobile phone. It was a pink LG. I really liked it, but after me and my family came back from Donegal I saw that I had left my phone battery in the holiday home!
So after about a month my mum got me a new one. But then about two months after that I was on my phone at night and I some how put a pin code on my phone and I did not know what the code was! That shows how stupid I can be!So my mum phoned the LG company and asked what to do.
They said that you need to get a new sim card. But nobody got one for about five months. but yesterday I was in Tesco with mum and she saw one and got it!So now my phone is perfect but I know now that if I mess about with stuff,I could get in to trouble!
